Poor Mojo's Almanac(k) Classics (2000-2011)
Poetry #91
(published Mid-year, 2002)
Kisses
Kisses mean little.
Sex nothing at all.
These are not the things
a man should trust.
They come and go,
faster than the latest styles,
than specials at the five and dime.
but their promise,
their softness,
something that sings,
laughs into our genes.
