Poetry #209
(published January 13, 2005)
George W. Bush (An Electoral Elegy Clerihew, runner-up)
by Sara Swanson
George W. Bush, our commander-in-chief's
Re-election has caused me such grief
That it's lead to my realization
That this is not my fucking nation

This poem is the runner-up in our First Ever Post-Election Pandemonium Electoral Elegy Clerihew Competition. Although not the winner, she is nonetheless pleasant and worthy of your recognition and kindness.
