Everyone can grow salsa's ingredients, limited only by imagination and ambition. That it originates in Mexico is not a problem. After all, many of us do. Where are melting pots from?
I am coming to believe that North America is not a tossed salad, melting pot, or crucible, but a large batch of salsa, salsa poured into ziploc bags and frozen for a camping trip.
When you arrive, your salsa is ready to eat and your beer is still refreshing.
