Poetry #346
(published September 6, 2007)
Things I Hated
by Cami Park
Every time you saw a Volkswagen Beetle,
you hit me.

You didn't swim, but we were
always going to the beach.

When you wanted to talk you'd say,
I've got a bone to pick with you, even
if nothing was wrong.

In the winter, you wore hats to bed.

I'm so glad I killed you.
