Poetry #234
(published July 7, 2005)
Mother Root
by Pamela Tyree Griffin
Mother Root
live down yonder where
she grow her some herbs and
cast she her spells
to make a man
LOVE you.
She done it for me once
but
she got no spells to make
him leave when
LOVE do.
