Roughly halfway through the new Wrath of the Lich King expansion, in the land of the Dragonblight, at the culmination of a few ridiculously long quest chains this cutscene plays. (Click through to see it.)
It's the first in-game cutscene in WoW, and is a milestone much like when Jonathan Coulton's "Still Alive" provided the payoff/coda to Portal. It's a new step in game narratives.
In "Wrathgate," the Alliance and the Horde put aside their differences momentarily and storm the front door of the Lich King's fortress. The Lich King, Arthas, handily beats them but his army is then defeated by an attack of his former minions--and current members of the Horde--the Forsaken.
It's a great moment in a fantastic game. If you will be playing WotLK, I'd suggest not watching it here. As it's much more of a surprise when it pops up in-game.
