Snoop Dogg Live on streaming video

Snoop Dogg Live, Ustream.TV: Snoop Live. Entertainment,Funny Videos,Music Videos Free Videos by Ustream.TV **Jack** passed along the boingboing description:
Snoop Dogg has a webshow on Ustream. As I blog, it's live right now. The show consists entirely of him sitting in a chair in his house, smoking a shit-ton of weed, and playing really good old-school music. Sometimes, singing along for a bar or two, or talking back to the chat room intermittently in Snoop-isms. Then, walking away entirely, leaving the webcam fixed on a poster of Snoop on the wall for, like, a half hour at a time. Seriously, that's it.

Associated Press thinks we're gonna pay them for thier content

Maybe we should? Actually, I think it would be a good idea. The Associated Press is nothing more than an agreement between newspapers to share resources. It and other wire services are the backbone of our newsgathering infrastructure. If print newspapers are gonna up and die on us, saving the wires may be essential. Associated Press Seeks More Control of Content on Web - NYTimes.com
Taking aim at the way news is spread across the Internet, The Associated Press said on Monday that Web sites that used the work of news organizations must obtain permission and share revenue with them, and that it would take legal action against those that did not. A.P. executives said they were concerned about a variety of news forums around the Web, including major search engines like Google and Yahoo and aggregators like the Drudge Report that link to news articles, smaller sites that sometimes reproduce articles whole, and companies that sell packaged news feeds. They said they did not want to stop the appearance of articles around the Web, but to exercise some control over the practice and to profit from it.

Sir Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart join forces to Wait for Godot

Sir Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart on Waiting For Godot - Telegraph

Wow. This looks amazing.

The prospect of seeing Sir Ian McKellen, the pre-eminent male classical actor of his generation, treading the boards again is in itself enough to warrant a box-office stampede. The prospect of seeing him star in Waiting for Godot opposite Patrick Stewart, who is fast catching up with him in the theatrical titan stakes after a long sojourn in LA playing Capt Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek, is a once-in-a-lifetime excitement.

Wanda Sykes talk show? Yes, please.

Wanda Sykes talk show? Yes, please. | PopWatch Blog | EW.com
Wanda Sykes is getting her own late-night show. My first instinct was to feel anxiety -- Argh, these shows fail so much more than they succeed! But I'm going to push that reaction aside and get psyched. Sykes is hilarious, and I'm tired of seeing her only play second fiddle (Old Christine, I'm looking at you). Count me in. As Diddy would tweet, Let's go!
