Obama caves on Keystone pipeline
I hope you like a giant tube carrying toxic acidic slurry across America's heartland, because that's what Obama just gave you.
Just a reminder that a similar pipeline carrying acid tar slurry burst near Kalamazoo, Michigan in 2010 and dumped like a million gallons of acidic tar sludge into Michigan's river system. It would have been a bigger story, but it happened during the whole Deepwater Horizon environmental disaster.
It's appalling that Obama approved this. For every good thing he does socially he seems to do two awful things for the environment or basic rights.
