The Alternative Press Expo (APE) kicked my ass

Longo, Riley and I spent the weekend at San Francisco's APE. It was the first convention for the Poor Mojo crew and it went swimmingly. The exhibitors at APE are a charming and generous bunch. The weekend couldn't have been better. Fritz and Dave-o (and Jason Polan) made some really great posters and zines. We handed out hundreds of free things and sold tons of posters. We made some rookie mistakes, but we're learning. Adapting. We're evolving slowly into a con-destroying monster. (or at least next time we'll remember to bring more business cards.) Anyways.
Over the next week we'll be sharing with you some of the stunning artists, writers and illustrators we met at APE. Tonight we will sleep the sleep of the victorious.
