None of the images on Champagne's computer contained images of naked children, but more than 13,000 depicted young girls in bikinis. Investigators say Champagne manipulated some of the images.
He took allegedly more than fifty pictures at Blue Bayou Water Park. One girl was photographed fifteen times and a ten year old girl was photographed four times.
Under Louisiana's video voyeurism law, it's illegal to have these types of pictures without consent from the people in the picture, if they're used for a lewd or lascivious purpose.
If Champagne is convicted, he faces up to 10,000 dollars in fines and two to ten years at prison without the benefit of parole for each count.
