Yum! Brands Inc. estimates that fear of avian flu could knock down sales of Kentucky Fried Chicken as much as 20 percent in the United States or Europe, an analyst who follows the stock said.
The company has been planning a response to an outbreak of the potentially deadly virus in the Western Hemisphere.
