Poetry #265
(published February 9, 2006)
Eclipse
by Sue Miller
the moon's on acid
and his laughter's running full up my thighs

I shall succumb,
I'm so shimmering,
shivering with ceremonial thrum
as he tries his cunning, that fox

the moon's on acid
and laughter's running up my thighs

I open
and the rain comes
he's the one who's humming, now
thrusting and gushing

the moon's on acid
and laughter's running
down my thighs
